the sims 2 on the Consoles
READ IT ALL!!!!!!!
After selling 4.5 million copies of The Sims 2 on the PC, EA has decided that there's no reason to stop there. And so the crazy domestic adventures will be spreading farther than the fans who sit at a desk to manipulate their Sims, much farther. EA likes to think big and so The Sims 2 will be coming to all three consoles and four different handhelds this fall. That's the PS2, Xbox, GameCube, GBA, DS, PSP, and even mobile phones. It's about to go mega and be everywhere you want to be.
It would've been easy for the Maxis division to simply copy over The Sims 2 to the console by chopping the scope of the game down as well as the graphics, but what's the fun in that? Instead the game will be making some radical departures such as providing direct control. For the first time in the franchise, players will be able to go into a third-person view behind a Sim and make him or her do exactly what they want.
Beyond the direct control, there will also be a new food creation system, tons of customization, split-screen two-player action, new characters, extended storylines, and a new social system where players won't just go through the motions to get relationship points. With the not-so-modest goal of making a game for everyone to love the developers have quite a bit cut out for them, but it looks like they're doing just fine with it so far.
I SO HAPPY

Welll the only thing I don't like is how they say the #1 PC game of all time! Who cares and your probably lieing when they say that.
- Code: Select all
it never say that
they only say that on the magazines. but for some people it is the 1 PC game and plus it did sell 4.5 millions copies
